阿部郁朗教授為日本東京大學藥學系講座教授，為國際知名天然物化學與生合成生物學專家。

本校依教育部玉山學者計畫聘任其為講座教授，協助推動海洋天然產物與生技應用研究，強化

國際學術合作與人才培育，提升本校及我國在天然物與生技研究領域之國際能見度。

Professor Ikuro Abe is a Chair Professor at the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, The University of Tokyo, and an internationally recognized expert in natural product chemistry and biosynthetic biology.

He joined National Sun Yat-sen University as a Chair Professor under the Ministry of Education’s Yushan Fellow Program, contributing his expertise to the advancement of research on marine natural products and biotechnology applications. His appointment further strengthens the University’s international academic collaborations and talent development, while enhancing the international visibility of National Sun Yat-sen University and Taiwan in the fields of natural products and biotechnology.
