Undergraduate Curriculum Map
In response to the reorganization of the course chart for the 2020 academic year, rules for making up or retaking required courses for students in their sophomore year or above are as follows:
- When making up or retaking calculus classes, the requirement for “Calculus 1” may be satisfied by taking this department’s “Calculus” class, or a class with the same name from the Colleges of Science, Engineering, or Marine Sciences. The requirement for “Calculus 2” may be satisfied by taking a class with the same name from the Colleges of Science, Engineering, or Marine Sciences.
- When making up or retaking calculus classes, the requirement for “General Chemistry 1” may be satisfied by taking this department’s “General Chemistry” class, or a class with the same name from the Colleges of Science, Engineering, or Marine Sciences. The requirement for “General Chemistry 2” may be satisfied by taking a class with the same name from the Colleges of Science, Engineering, or Marine Sciences.
- When making up or retaking calculus classes, the requirement for “General Chemistry Lab. 1” may be satisfied by taking this department’s “General Chemistry Lab.” class, or a class with the same name from the Colleges of Science, Engineering, or Marine Sciences. The requirement for “General Chemistry Lab. 2” may be satisfied by taking a class with the same name from the Colleges of Science, Engineering, or Marine Sciences.
